Bernie & AOC will rally in support of the Green New Deal

• In Council Bluffs on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m.
• At noon at Drake University in Des Moines on Saturday, Nov. 9
• In Coralville at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9

Coralville, near Iowa City, is about a 3.5 hour drive from La Crosse. If you might drive there from here or want to go and need a ride, please email.

October 27 Kickoff!

Thanks to those who came to our October 27 local organizing kickoff! We watched a campaign video and learned about strategy (early states are very important!) and what we can do to help the campaign. We learned about the BERN app that anyone may download to create a personal canvass universe of friends and family members. We were also encouraged to sign up for phone banking (see below). 

We'll be setting up some phone banks for anyone including instruction, guidance, and support for folks who haven't phone banked before. We'll try to do some other community events, too. If you have an idea or are hosing a Bernie event in the La Crosse area, please contact us! 

This is a great list of 13 things we can do to help the campaign from Reddit: 

1. Sign up for a local canvassing (best) or phonebanking event. 

2.Sign up to phonebank - calling people throughout the US to activate supporters, talk to undecideds, etc. (PS - There is now phonebanking in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Vietnamese). Once you've signed up, head to berniesanders.com/call
 
3. Sign up to textbank - similar to phonebanking, but texting! Keep volunteers aware of their options, etc. 

4. Sign up for data entry - help the campaign process their data faster. 

5. Sign up on BerniePB to compete on the leaderboards and watch calls go out in real time. 

6. Get the BERN web / google / apple app, and use it! 

7. Send the JRE interview to any friends, family, or acquaintances - it breaks the false image of Bernie that the media creates. 

8. Check how to register and vote for Bernie in your state. 

9. Drop a dollar his way
 
10. Help with Spanish translations at FeelTheBern.org 

11. Host a community canvass - the more regularly, the better! 

12. Host a phonebanking session - the more regularly, the better! 

13. *ROAD TRIP* SIGN UP TO GO TO IOWA FOR BERNIE. THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPACTFUL THING YOU CAN DO.
